When ever we plan up a trip the first thing which hit our head would be which resort to book, For those people who are coming to chennai and those who are planning to book a resort to hang out with friends within chennai. ” Green meadows” is a wonderful place to hang out with booze up party’s and dinner.

Grass hopper is located inside the green meadows.

Coming to the ambiance:

They have quite decent ambiance, which will give you a better feel and they have a very cool bartender, they are skilled, they can entertain you while preparing the drink.

coming to the food and drinks:

we went here to have the sunday brunch, they charge 1499 + with unlimited cocktails (Domestic drinks) and food.

They do have a huge spread in their buffet, they have from kal dosa to appam to biriyani to desserts. its surely worth the price tag which we are paying. I highly recommend this place if you are a hardcore drinker, been alcohol served unlimited you can really enjoy this place.

What to order in cocktails ?

Preying Mantis:

This one is the best among all the cocktails, been served with gin,lime juice, basil leaf and cucumber it act as a perfect refreshing drink, they even added nanari syrup to it . which gave me a feel of having a nanari jucie. Still its made me HIGH

Long Island Tea LIT:

LIT is always my favorite even though it gives me a hangover, this one is the bomb for sure, if you want to try all the crazy drinks in one shot just go for it, but i felt it was little concentrated would have been better if it was little mild.

Citrus Fly:

This one is the orange juice mixed with vodka, vodka went so well with orange juice. its wasnt it much concentrated, they have mixed up the drink pretty well.

If you don’t mind shedding some more money you can even go for some imported drinks like corona beers tequila shots and jager bomb.

Coming to the food :

Panner Tikka:

They have marinated the panner well, i seriously loved the masala, its was mild and delicious. only drop down was the panner, texture of the panner was bit hard would have been better if it was soft and fluffy.

Chicken Wings:

Chicken wing were too good, you can enjoy your drink with it, its was bit spicy and hot. chicken was so tender and juicy, it was perfect.

Biriyani and Gravy:

Tandoori biriyani:

Biriyani was so rich and flavourful, aroma was excellent it just made me drool. tandoori was so tender it went so well with biriyani

They even have kallapam, syrian beef, fish curry and chicken curry for the main course, they have  live counter for preparing the kallapam. kal Appam went so well with chicken curry comparing it to the fish curry. chicken curry was bit spicy it was much suitable for appam.

Desserts:

All of their desserts are pretty decent with the taste, i personally loved their carrot halwa and gulab jamun.

Coming to the brownie, this the best among all the brownie i have tired till date, its was so fresh and soft. wow its was soooooooooooooo sooooooo good.

Surely a nectarous Brownie for sure.

With overall i can rate them 4/5.
