“We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us”

When ever we plan up a trip the first thing which hit our head would be which resort to book, For those people who are coming to chennai and those who are planning to book a resort  to hang out with friends within chennai. ” Green meadows” is a wonderful place to hang out with booze up party’s and dinner.

I got an invite to  this place along with few foodies, The moment i entered i started to feel i was on someother planet, the place was so colorful and it gave me a pleasant feel to my eyes. With ducks and trees with swimming pool, this place is surely an heaven.

The restaurant ambiance was pretty neat and clean with their friendly staffs, im surely you will enjoy your meal. We have been invited to this place to try their new brunch menu which they have launched.

Coming to the food:

We started with orange mocktail, been exhausted with hot sun it gave me a bliss feel still i felt the flavor was too less i was blunt would have been better with little flavor.

Soup:

Tom Yum :

Though it was name as tom yum soup it doesnt tasted like one, its was so tangy and little spicy, doesnt kicked my taste bugs. prawn was cooked well but it doesnt has a flavor in it. felt its was little blunt.

Starters:

Cajun dusted grilled fish strip:

Fish strip was chewy felt like eating chicken, Masala was perfectly marinated and seized on both the sides perfectly, its was mild and perfect. it would have been perfect if the fish is soft and juicy.

Paneer tikka:

Been disappointed with the tenderness of fish, panner just made my day. its was soft and fluffy, Masala has went deep seems their marination Technic worked well on this dish.

Crispy Honey chilly vegetable:

Baby corn and cauliflower has been marinated with corn flour and spices, they have fried it perfect in the way it doesnt have the raw taste and they have dulcified with honey. made this dish a pack of joy.

Maincourse:

Laksa:

Nothing much to tell about this dish, they have mixed all the noodles and prawns and egg with coconut milk and added little pickle to it.

Mutton Biriyani:

Mutton biriyani has some how made my day, though it wasnt  soo good still after having laksa i felt mutton biriyani is better. it was flavorful and rich. still tenderness of the meat was little hard.

Roti with Palak:

Roti was soft and it went so well with the palak. best combination.

Desserts:

This gonna be my favorite part, i can visit this place anytime just to have their coconut pudding, it was soo perfect in all its way, the sweetness and the texture was perfect. it will melt in your mouth.

Overall i can rate them 3.5/5. Ambiance 5/5, Service 4/5, Food 3/5.
